I'm Kari from Cali and I'm so glad you made it to The Bearded Viking.
Born and raised on California's Central Coast until 18 years of age, I moved to what I call my second hometown, Chico, shortly after. I left behind family, friends, and the familiarity of home when I arrived here in 2017.
Since then, I've grown in ways I never thought possible. An awakening and a new way of thinking taught me that while change is hard, staying stagnant is harder.
What began as an afternoon escape from the walls of school in 1993 eventually became my life's calling. Nearly three decades later, I'm still learning, growing, and creating all things hair, doing what I love.
A couple years after moving to Minnesota, I picked up the scissors and comb with no idea where the road would lead. I simply began building relationships with families throughout the community. From those first clients back in 2019 to the new faces today, each person has played a significant role in building The Bearded Viking into what it is today. When you're here, you're seen, you're heard, and most importantly, you're family.
Some people call it a job. I call it my passion.

Book Your Seat
By booking an appointment, you agree to my two-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made through the link provided at the time of booking. This allows another client the opportunity to fill your spot in the event you're unable to make the appt.
Sending a text directly to the shop is always appreciated, but it is only a backup and does not replace cancelling through your booking link. Failure to properly cancel may affect your ability to book future appointments.
You'll get an auto-confirmation text with a link where you can manage your appointment anytime. Occasionally your appointment time may be adjusted, but you'll always be notified in advance. Thank you for understanding!
